As the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) of Troop 367, I invite you to check out our Troop and consider joining! Scouts BSA troops like ours are open to all boys and girls 11-17 years old.
New Hanover Lutheran Church is our Chartered Organization, which has been our host since 1952. We meet at the Church weekly all year round on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM at 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. From mid-May through mid-September, we meet at the Church's Picnic Grove on Swamp Picnic Road between Charlotte Street and Lutheran Road.
As the SPL, I am the leader of our troop and I manage other youth leaders and the Patrol Leaders of our patrols.
We camp 10 months each year, including a week at Summer Camp. Sometimes we camp in tents, cabins, smaller shelters, or sometimes, just out under the stars next to the campfire! We also plan and execute other adventures that sometimes takes us to 100+ miles of hiking in New Mexico, to secluded islands in the Florida Keys, to the boarder waters in Minnesota and Canada, or to National Jamborees in the mountains of West Virginia.
